  1. VIEWS The are the most obvious answer so we will get this out of the way first. Everyone should see the world’s tallest mountains. Enough said.
  2. EASE This is not an easy country to travel solo - it’s hard to navigate and there’s a lack of info/tourist places up in the rugged mountains - making it perfect for a group trip with everything planned for you! You pretty much NEED a tour for many of our spots.
  3. LAUGHS with your new friends from trek days to bus rides, where strangers become family through true type 2 fun.
  4. FOOD The delicious Pakistani food will have you looking forward to every meal
  5. TRUE ADVENTURE There’s nothing like an evening bonfire under the stars, waking up in the middle of the remote mountains to see the sun rise over 7000-8000m peaks, or speeding around corners on winding mountain roads. Even if you have to brave a squat toilet or two.
  6. ALTITUDE this group trip gives you the benefit of seeing the tallest mountains on earth without having to adjust to suepr high altitudes. The highest hike and viewpoint are 4000m, but we spend most of the time around and under 3000m.
  7. SHOPPING The whole trip offers unique shopping experiences, from bustling bazaars in Lahore and Islamabad to fresh cut mountain crystals, pashminas, and jewelry for amazing prices in Karimabad, to affordable souvenirs in Naran.
  8. DAY HIKES - We only do day hikes - no multi-day treks - making this trip a lot more accessible to different kinds of hikers, and even those less hiking inclined.
  9. OPTIONAL HIKES - Some hikes are even optional - for some, you can rent a donkey, and others you can drive to viewpoints if you’d rather skip out on hikes. But there are always hiking options!
  10. LESS TOURISTY PLACES - Want to hike Everest or K2? Sure, but prepare for crowds! With us, we hike on the 9th tallest mountain in the world which is FAR less crowded - we have it almost to ourselves! This is true for the rest of the trip too - we mostly avoid touristy places.
  11. HOTELS - No camping involved here! Our hotels range from basic to plush, but you won’t have to brave the autumn night in a tent on this trip.
  12. HOSPITALITY - The Pakistani hospitality is truly second to none. You’ll see when you get here!
  13. NEW FRIENDS - a trip like this tends to draw likeminded travelers. Part of it is the destination, and part is who you spend it with.
  14. AUTUMN COLORS - In October, the leaves are beginning to change, and we should witness beautiful autumn colors through the trip.
  15. HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE We stay with a local family in the heart of Hunza and experience true local lifestyle. the family meals here are unreal!
  16. HISTORY + CULTURE: Pakistan has extremely rich history and culture which we will immerse ourselves into, from historic sites and ceremonies in the cities to mountain traditions.
  17. PERSPECTIVE SHIFT I have said this a lot, but truly, this trip helped reframe my perspective on a lot of my life, jolted me free from what’s not important, and reconnected me with alignment through time in nature. Believe it - or don’t - or come see for yourself.
  18. FUN + SILLINESS - While still challenging in ways, the trip is 100% fun. It’s different. It’s outside your comfort zone. It’s a destination many aren’t lucky enough to see. And we make the most of it.
  19. SKILLED GUIDES : having knowledgeable, professional, experienced (and still fun) guides makes that much of a difference on a trip like this, allowing us to truly feel at ease and have the trip taken care of for us. Our guides are the best!

Any questions? As always, reply to this email or send me a DM.

Hope to see you for the adventure of a lifetime! Truly, I do.

Kimmie
